From Curiosity to Career: Explore a Ph.D. in Business at UConn

Monday, November 16, 2026 at 12:15 PM until 12:45 PMEastern Standard Time UTC -05:00

Are you intellectually curious? Do you enjoy asking big questions, exploring ideas, or imagining a career where research, teaching, and impact come together? Join the UConn School of Business for a virtual recruiting event designed for intellectually curious undergraduates who may be interested in academia but are not sure how the path works or where to begin.

This session will demystify the Ph.D. journey, including how students enter doctoral programs, what business research looks like, how being fully funded works, and how a Ph.D. can lead to a rewarding faculty career. No master’s degree, business background, or prior publications required—just curiosity, motivation, and a desire to shape the future of knowledge.

Virtual events are held via Microsoft Teams. If connecting on a mobile device, you must download the Microsoft Teams app by searching for the Microsoft Teams app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and following the installation prompts. We encourage you to install Microsoft Teams on your mobile device before the start of the event.
